Summer 2026 Plein Air Painting
with Brenno Kenji
This course offers an introduction to the theory and practice of outdoor oil painting (“en plein air”), as well as continued development for those with prior experience. We'll meet in person at a range of locations throughout the Seattle area.
Below you’ll find details about the course and how to enroll. Once registered, you'll gain access to supplemental materials and a growing resource library designed to support and extend your in-person experience.

The core course will meet for four Saturdays, from 1:00PM–4:00 PM, on the following dates and locations:
8/1 (Golden Gardens Park)
8/8 (Green Lake Park)
8/15 (Bellevue Botanical Garden)
8/22 (Edmonds Marsh)
(Precise meeting points will be emailed to enrolled students prior to each session)
In addition to these core sessions, students who wish to extend their practice are welcome to join two optional add-on sessions, to be held at the following dates (locations are suggestions; actual locations TBD in consultation with participants):
8/29 (Gas Works Park/ Richmond Beach Saltwater)
9/5 (Fish Ladders Granite Falls / Al Borlin Park)
Note: These add-on sessions are not included in the core course tuition. Full pricing details are listed in the next section.

Optional add-on sessions (for core course students only): $50 per session
